When you submit a project for bid please provide as much information as possible for a bid to be offered.

Each bid is based on a $45.00 hourly rate and is subject to amendment or revision based on the actual end needs of the project.

A Development contract is available with each custom programming bid.

Consulting Services:

Consulting Services rates are based on $45.00 an hour and require a retainer to begin. End result is a flow-chart and/or plan with the option to carry out the plan or develop the project, or a full model plan to execute targeted strategies.

Package Products:

For your installed software in PHP or PERL rates are based on $45.00 an hour. This is used to correct CSS errors, add code or otherwise make it work properly.

WordPress Stock Theme Site:

Find a free theme you like. I customize it with your logo, install and host for $100.00 one time cost. Hosting and server support is included if desire.

If you desire to use a premium theme, such as Thesis, set up and configuration will increase the cost by the standard hourly rate. Premium themes are created for the end user to modify. I urge you to do those modifications yourself and avoid the additional costs.

Wholesale WordPress Custom Theme Site Provided in private label:

Send a design in PSD and I cut it up and install for a flat rate of $750.00 one time cost for one PSD file. $250 for each additional PSD file.

WordPress Custom Theme Site Art Creation:

Send a spec sheet and examples of appearance you like and I design it, cut it up and install from $850.00 one time cost. Costs increase with each additional design and special function required. Some sites may contain, front page, internal page, archive page, etc, each requires a design file. Plugins and packaged social themes including BuddyPress WordPress MU, ComicPress and any other Theme based specialty system are installed without charge on the $850 package, but designing and creating skins for those products increases the cost of the package.

Buddypress standard installation

Buddypress full custom theme installed starts at $1350.00. By ‘starts’ means, it is not inexpensive. Wordpress sites install any plugin without charge, including the preferred Ecwid AJAX Cart System (except s2Member which required $250.00.)

Terms:

Minimum:

There is a two hour minimum sale. In many cases if the work requested is less than the minimum billing the solution will simply be provided to you for your own correction. If you are not comfortable in changing WordPress Codex or cascading style sheets the minimum of two hours will apply.

Retainer:

Pay a single amount. I work the hours, reporting in statements to you until it is exhausted, then pay it again and works continues. This is required for SEO and Logic Consultation services, and large development projects including open ended hunting for errors or bugs from previous developer work. Pay one half of the estimated low range bid, with the balance due in weekly milestone payments and release to your server or control upon final payment. All builds take place on my build server unless other situations prohibit. Upon final payment projects are installed in your server. Payments are expected upon receipt of the statement-invoice. I provide a minimum of weekly statements showing work performed each day and hours used broken down by project and task. Payment is due upon receipt of that statement. Work continues after receipt of most recent balance.

Payment Methods:

Payments are accepted through check, money order, PayPal, direct deposit (I will provide bank information only upon request), or carrier pidgeon if you have one with a rolled up tube of cash. It doesn’t matter. What does matter, is that I will not begin work, nor will I continue work until the most recent statement is paid in full. I do not carry statements. I do NOT perform equity, profit sharing or spec projects. Deposits are non-refundable. It is the client’s responsibility to check the applicability of all bids submitted. Work is performed based on the bid. Payment of a deposit signifies acceptance of the bid. Time cannot be scheduled without a paid deposit or retainer. Work not agreed to in the bid will not be performed within the bid cost.
